APEX Xichang Team-Building Trip: Forging Cohesion, Inspiring Progress

To enhance team cohesion, APEX organized a three-day team building trip to Xichang for all employees last Thursday. Greeted by clear skies and bright sunshine upon arrival, we held the annual meeting in a lakeside pavilion after check-in, which featured leadership speeches, outstanding employee awards and a lucky draw— a meaningful moment for us to reflect on the past and look forward to the future.

 On the second day, we took a full-day cycling tour around Qionghai Lake, Xichang’s landmark, enjoying the stunning lake and mountain scenery along the way. In the evening, we tasted authentic local barbecue and visited Jianchang Ancient Town, immersing ourselves in the city’s profound cultural heritage.

On the third morning, we tried Xichang’s signature rice noodles before hiking Lushan Mountain, where lively monkeys interacted with visitors and added fun to the climb. From the summit, we enjoyed a panoramic view of Qionghai Lake and Xichang’s urban area. After descending, we savored local delicacies, with the unique Drunken Shrimp leaving a deep impression on us, before heading back after lunch.

This trip offered a much-needed break from intense work and physical exercise through cycling and hiking. More importantly, it deepened bonds between new and existing colleagues, greatly boosting team teamwork and cohesion, with Xichang’s beautiful natural scenery and rich culture making the experience even more special. As we step into the new year, we will return to work with renewed energy and carry this collaborative spirit into daily operations to drive APEX forward together.
