Anti-Drone RF Filters: Core Spectral Components for Low-Altitude Security Systems

Airports, industrial parks, examination centers, and other critical areas frequently experience unauthorized drone flights and covert surveillance, posing risks to public safety and privacy. Anti-drone systems rely on RF detection and signal jamming to force rogue drones to return or land. RF filters are the core components that ensure precise and compliant operation of these devices. They are used in both receive and transmit channels, and their frequency band selection directly determines overall system performance.

Leveraging mature RF design capabilities, APEX provides cavity filters tailored to mainstream drone communication links, covering the full operating spectra of all consumergrade and industrialgrade drones currently on the market.

– Mainstream Compatible Frequency Band Options –

>Long-range remote-control bands: 433 MHz, 900 MHz – Used for long-haul and agricultural drone remote control. Deployed in fixed detection stations, these filters clean out communication spurs, enabling long-range capture of control signals and reducing false alarms.
>Universal remote-control and video-transmission band: 2.4 GHz – Used for consumer drone remote control and video downlink. These filters resist urban WiFi and Bluetooth interference, ensuring high detection sensitivity.
>High-definition video-transmission band: 5.8 GHz – Used for aerial photography and FPV HD video links. Installed in the output stage of high-power jammers, they suppress harmonic leakage to avoid interfering with surrounding civilian wireless equipment.
>Satellite navigation band: GPS L1 (1575.42 MHz) – The dedicated positioning band for drones. These filters accurately capture navigation signals and, when paired with jamming, effectively disrupt GPS positioning.
